Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)
WSIB Community Mental Health Program (CMHP)
WSIB and CMHP were created to support Ontarians dealing with work-related illnesses or injuries. At OSR Clinics, our WSIB team is dedicated to putting clients first. We’re here as part of your integrated support team, helping you recover and eventually return to work safely.
Experiencing a work-related injury or illness can be traumatic. Initially, many clients may not even recognize the stress they're feeling, as these emotions—like shock, numbness, or mood changes—can seem directly tied to the physical pain. Some clients find themselves reliving the traumatic event, which can understandably lead to general anxiety. Adjusting to changes in your routine as a result of an injury or illness can also be challenging.
Remember, you’re not alone. Our trauma-trained specialists bring years of experience in helping WSIB clients like you navigate these changes and find a path to healing.
Healing Psychotraumatic Injuries
Restoring Wholeness
Treating psychotraumatic injuries involves a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help individuals recover from the emotional and psychological impact of trauma. These injuries, often resulting from deeply distressing events, can disrupt daily life and mental well-being. Effective treatment combines therapies like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), somatic techniques, and mindfulness practices to address emotional pain, reprocess traumatic memories, and rebuild resilience. Through tailored care and a supportive environment, individuals can regain a sense of safety, reclaim their inner strength, and move toward a life of balance and healing.
